Kitchen sections & printers

Each category goes to one kitchen section. A section shows on the kitchen screen as its own tab, and can also print paper tickets. One printer can be marked for customer bills.

Simulation mode is on. Nothing is sent to real printers; tickets are only saved in the print log. Set Printing:Simulate to false in appsettings.Development.json to print for real.

Network printers (Epson TM-T20/T82/T88, Xprinter, Rongta and most 80 mm thermal printers with an Ethernet port): give the printer a fixed IP on your router and use port 9100.

USB printers: install the printer in Windows, then choose "Windows installed printer" and type the name exactly as shown in Windows Settings, Printers. This only works when the app runs on that Windows PC.

Width: 80 mm paper is usually 48 characters (some models 42); 58 mm paper is 32.
